Edward J. (Jim) McIntyre President & Chief Executive Officer
On January 3, 2012, Jim McIntyre was named President & Chief Executive Officer of Otter Tail Corporation.
With nearly 30 years in the utility industry, including 17 years as a senior officer with Northern States Power and its successor company, Xcel Energy, Jim brings his practical, responsible, conservative approach to achieving results to his interim role leading Otter Tail Corporation.
Jim has served as a past Vice President and CFO at Xcel Energy, as well as CFO at that company's predecessor, Northern States Power. He was also past president and Chief Executive Officer of Northern States Power, Wisconsin. Jim has served on the Otter Tail Corporation board of directors for the past five years.

Kevin Moug Chief Financial Officer & Senior Vice President
In his role as Otter Tail's CFO, Kevin Moug oversees the financial functions and performance for the corporation and its operating companies. He also directs the corporate services for treasury, accounting, tax and external reporting, investor relations, financial planning, information technology, sourcing, internal audit and business risk management and acquisition evaluations.
Before joining the corporation in 1996, Moug was the chief financial officer with Advance Dental Management, where he managed the banking, treasury, purchasing, human resources and corporate accounting functions of 22 dental offices, a dental laboratory, real estate properties and a dental insurance plan.
From 1981 to 1993, he worked at Deloitte & Touche, specializing in business planning, SEC reporting, mergers and acquisitions, and equity financing. His audit clients included manufacturing, distribution and software companies.
A certified public accountant, Kevin earned his BSBA degree in Accounting at the University of North Dakota and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is an active community volunteer and is on the following Boards: Advisory Board for U.S. Bank in Fargo, North Dakota; West Region Board of Directors for Essentia Health; Audit Committee for Essentia Health; The University of North Dakota Advisory Board for the College of Business and Public Administration; and The University of North Dakota Advisory Board for the College of Accountancy.

George Koeck Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary
George Koeck brings an extensive legal background and practical business experience to the Otter Tail Corporation leadership team. In his role as general counsel and corporate secretary, George ensures that the corporation and operating companies are fully compliant with laws and regulations, legal risk is managed and difficult legal decisions are made responsibly.
George earned his Juris Doctorate with distinction from the University of North Dakota. He also received a bachelor's degree in history from the University of Texas, and a master's degree in education from the University of St. Thomas. He is a member of the North Dakota and Minnesota State Bar Associations and a member of the American Bar Association. He also previously served five years as an adjunct professor at William Mitchell College of Law.
Prior to joining Otter Tail Corporation, George was a partner in Dorsey and Whitney, LLP, practicing in the area of labor and employment law. His previous experience also includes serving as a law clerk to the Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota and as associate counsel for General Mills.

Chuck MacFarlane Senior Vice President, Electric Platform
As the leader of the Electric Platform, Chuck MacFarlane is accountable for the operations of Otter Tail Corporation's largest and foundational business. He brings extensive utility experience to manage Otter Tail Power Company at high levels of reliability and customer satisfaction. Based in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, the company serves customers across 50,000 square miles of Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota.
Chuck joined Otter Tail Power Company in 2001 as director of financial analysis and planning. He was named vice president of finance and business planning in May 2002, interim president in August 2002 and president in May 2003.
Before joining Otter Tail Power Company, Chuck served as director of electric distribution planning and engineering for Minneapolis-based Xcel Energy's multi-state service territory. Previously, he was director of delivery construction and field operations for Northern States Power Company, which became part of Xcel Energy following a merger.
Chuck earned his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, and his master's degree in business administration from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minnesota. He is also a graduate of the Minnesota Executive Program at the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management. In his community, he serves on boards for Fergus Area Young Life and Productive Alternatives.

Shane Waslaski Senior Vice President, Manufacturing & Infrastructure Platform
Shane Waslaski joined Otter Tail Corporation as Vice President in January 2007 to lead its Plastics, Construction and Transportation segments. In 2010, he was appointed Sr. Vice President, a member of Otter Tail Corporation executive team, and leader of the acquisition and divestiture department.
He now leads the manufacturing, construction, plastic and transportation segments comprised of 8 operating companies, with operational locations in North Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Illinois, Florida, Texas and Arizona.
Previously, Shane was the founder and owner of Providian Consulting, LLC, a corporate consulting firm. At Providian he worked with corporate, non-profit and healthcare clients to devise business strategies aimed at improving leadership and operational effectiveness, financial performance, human resource management and organizational structure. He has worked as a consultant for Towers Perrin, an international management consulting firm, Fredrikson Healthcare Consulting and has also served in operational leadership roles at Children's Hospitals and Clinics in Minneapolis and St. Paul, the Family Healthcare Center.
Shane received his bachelor's of science degree from North Dakota State University. Since 2007, he has served on the board of directors for The Village Family Service Center, as well as current board chair of Fargo-Moorhead Junior Achievement. He also serves on the board of directors for Junior Achievement of the Upper Midwest, which oversees JA for greater Minnesota, North Dakota and western Wisconsin.

Michael J. Olsen Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications and Public Affairs
Michael J. Olsen is a communications professional with over 30 years of experience spanning the corporate, public and non-profit sectors. At Otter Tail Corporation he is responsible for creating and implementing comprehensive communications strategies that advance the corporation's vision, mission and business objectives with both external and internal stakeholders.
Prior to joining Otter Tail, Michael was president of Michael J. Olsen Communications, a public relations and communications consulting firm. His job experience has included serving as senior vice president of corporate communications for Great Plains Software (later, Microsoft Business Solutions), vice president of corporate communications for National Car Rental, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Transportation for Public Affairs in Washington, D.C., and senior producer at Prairie Public Broadcasting.
Michael is a graduate of North Dakota State University. He currently serves on the board of The Arts Partnership, and is also past chair of the Plains Art Museum board of directors.

Paul Knutson Vice President of Human Resources
Paul Knutson oversees the human resource functions at Otter Tail Corporation, joining the company in September 2012. In this role, he is responsible for ensuring the organization attracts, develops and retains the talent needed to drive success. Paul has been an HR professional for over twenty years, and has an extensive background in building HR teams and strategies, and developing the overall human capital of business organizations. He comes to us directly from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where he led Strategic Staffing, Compensation and Human Resource Information Technology. In addition to running his own Human Resource consulting business for several years, Paul had a long career at Oriental Trading Company, where he last served as Vice President of Human Resources, Corporate Communications, and Facilities. Paul also served as Senior Vice President for Human Resources and Organizational Development at Pamida, Inc., now part of Shopko.
Paul has a B.A. in Psychology from Concordia College in Moorhead MN, and an M.S. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Nebraska, Omaha. He is also a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
