Lars Moller Named President of DMI Industries

Lars Moller has been named president of DMI Industries, a wind tower manufacturer based in West Fargo. DMI is an operating company of Otter Tail Corporation (NASDAQ:OTTR).

Moller succeeds Mike Hohl, who stepped down at the end of September. "Mike was instrumental in changing the DMI business focus from a sugar beet equipment company to what it is today, a leading manufacturer of wind towers," said Chuck Hoge, Otter Tail vice president. "As Lars assumes this leadership role, he brings a great depth of wind industry experience as well as insight into DMI's operations."

"DMI has become one of the leading wind tower manufacturers in North America," Moller said. "We plan to apply this expertise into new markets in the coming months."

Moller joined DMI in January 2003 as vice president of sales. A native of Denmark, he has 16 years of experience with wind energy firms in the U.S. and overseas. Prior to joining DMI, he was with Vestas Wind Systems A/S, one of the largest international wind turbine manufacturers. His roles at Vestas included director of the U.S. subsidiary and COO of the subsidiary based in Italy. He has also held management positions with Bonus Energy A/S, a major Danish wind turbine manufacturer, and enXco, a U.S. wind project developer and leading service organization.

He and his wife, Julia, reside in Fargo.
